Frauen werden meist halbnackt dargestellt, denn Nacktheit ist keine Scham, sondern eine metaphorische Rebellion gegen die Objektifizierung als Sexualobjekt; ich bin, wie ich bin, eine Frau, die ihre Weiblichkeit voll auslebt.

THE DOORS
This image represents a liminal space that transcends the perceptual threshold; doors and stairs symbolize subliminal pathways to the subconscious, marking the threshold of transition rituals and repressed memories. The larger, semi-nude female figure reflects the maternal archetype of protection, while the smaller girl in the background evokes the inner child and vulnerability—this relationship highlights ego defense mechanisms and the instinct to protect after trauma. The eye motif adds a layer of third eye awareness or surveillance anxiety, transforming the connection between the figures into a metaphor for the collective unconscious.

Dreams, Lives and Phantoms / 2024
The open-mouthed woman (mother) figure symbolizes both nurturing and consuming forces within the system, representing how identities are swallowed and reshaped by it. Within this structure, a spiraling search unfolds where inner desires intertwine with social obligations, dreams of home, work life, constructed hopes, and reality. While revealing the silent conflict between conformity and the suppressed self, small ghost-like figures hidden within the lines symbolize the childlike spirits within us.

Stories symbolized by multiple layers in which the experiences of womanhood intertwine. Anatomical distortions, as in many drawings, here also bend reality, perfectionism, time, and space, emphasizing that the phenomena we call “meaning” and “reality” may be the result of our perceptions.

This seated female figure is inspired by Kybele, the ancient Mother Goddess of Anatolia, a powerful symbol of fertility, abundance, nature, and the cycle of life.
